Within the framework of the expansion of the ZRW online offerings, the West Palatinate media library was founded in 2015. Here, high-quality materials (images, videos, presentations, blocks of texts, statistics, cards, etc.) are made available to ZRW members. In this way, the members are supported when promoting and depicting the location of their business, municipality, etc., as well as the West Palatinate region.

As the most widely distributed daily newspaper in the region, "Die Rheinpfalz" is an important media partner and member of the ZukunftsRegion Westpfalz [FutureRegion West Palatinate]. Since mid-2013, three times a year, there has been an extensive special supplement in the "Rheinpfalz" which, with its edition of 72,500 copies, reaches a large majority of households in the region. In the special edition, current projects are shown and new members of the organisation are introduced.

The West Palatinate is a region with a high quality of life, open and friendly people, innovative businesses and renowned research institutes – a region with a lot of potential. But that is hardly known in other regions. Even those who live in the West Palatinate aren't aware of it.

With the image brochure, this potential is made clear and people – from the region and those from outside of it – made aware of it. The West Palatinate is shown in a 17-page brochure, including all of its facets, lots of interesting information and fantastic photos.

In the West Palatinate, there is more happening than many people think! One reason for this: it isn't always easy to gain an overview of what is going on.

"Schule 4.0 - Vernetzung ist Zukunft" ["School 4.0 - Networking is the future"] is the name of a project that will establish a new type of teaching in the final years of school at the Hofenfels Gymnasium [Secondary School] in Zweibrücken. With tablets and the use of modern media, the school pupils should be better prepared for the demands in the age of digitalisation. Traditional teaching materials are supplemented and rounded out with iPads. That is how the youth of today will be made fit for tomorrow.

The project Pro Fachkraft [Pro Skilled Workers] examined the question of what requirements (future) workers had for their employers and how satisfied the employees of six selected businesses were with their employer. On the basis of talks with businesses, schools and universities of applied sciences in the region, management developed a model for an evaluation system for attractive employers. At the end of the project, the Pro Fachkraft seal of approval was granted to the participating businesses.

For many West Palatinate businesses, it is difficult to win over graduates from institutes of higher education as future employees. One significant obstacle in doing so is the low level of awareness of local businesses. The result of this is often the migration of young skilled workers to well-known large businesses outside of the region.

The presence of attractive jobs is the foundation for keeping well-educated youth in the region and also attracting skilled workers from the outside. Here, businesses, management, etc. are challenged to do more for their attractiveness as an employer. We strive to support the employers in the region with this task.
