Improving the quality of life
The West Palatinate is a really nice place to live today - it is a region where you can feel good. The region is also interesting to companies and investors.
With our projects, we are trying to make the region even more attractive and in doing so, we are starting with the identified needs for improvement.
Therefore, we are engaged in numerous projects to improving the cultural offerings in the West Palatinate as well as for better appreciation of the touristic qualities of our region. With our Westpfalz Wireless [West Palatinate Wireless] project, we are playing a role in improving the digital infrastructure in our region and are also creating the necessary conditions for the region to remain attractive in the digital age.
People from around 140 countries live in the West Palatinate, including the largest English-speaking community in Germany. We want to improve the currently existing welcoming culture and make our region even more attractive for qualified skilled workers and management from abroad, such as by opening an international school.
