In order to meet the needs of businesses and determine joint development projects at an early stage, the ZukunftsRegion Westpfalz [FutureRegion West Palatinate] receives active support from the universities and research institutes in Kaiserslautern, Zweibrücken, and Pirmasens. Almost every member of the research community of Kaiserslautern is part of the Science Alliance Kaiserslautern e.V. initiative.
