You can look forward to an exciting keynote speech by Michaela Weber, a graduate of the Intercultural Communication course at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, who now works as a trainer, coach and speaker.

In addition, you can expect interesting testimonials from women who were born in West Africa and have lived in Germany for many years. Hear first-hand how their own and foreign cultures meet.

At the 5th Wirtschaftstreff Westpfalz in Contwig, we are guests of verope Service Center GmbH and KV R&D Center GmbH - both subsidiaries of verope AG from Switzerland. The latter produces specialized wire ropes that are used in the construction industry, mining, heavy industry, ports and shipping, among others. In addition to the service and logistics center, Contwig is also home to the research and development center for special wire ropes.

The countless associations and volunteer initiatives in our region are of inestimable importance for social cohesion! They support people's personal ties to their place of residence and contribute to a higher quality of life in the Western Palatinate through their diverse activities. At the same time, many clubs are facing major challenges: In addition to financial worries, those responsible are particularly concerned with how they can motivate reliable commitment and also be of interest to younger people.

As part of the 1250th anniversary of the town of Kirchheimbolanden, the three-day open-air festival ARENA 2024 will take place on the Herrengarten fairground on the weekend of August 23-25, 2024, with two internationally renowned artists performing: Michael Schulte and Nico Santos!

The 13th General Assembly of the ZRW will take place this year in Ramstein at the Congress Center (CCR; formerly Haus des Bürgers). It starts at 16:00 with the reception. Official start of the event is at 17:00.
