Event series attractive employers

1. Event: „Occupational health management“

Under the motto "Healthy employees - strong companies", around 50 participants came together on 6 July 2015 at the invitation of ZRW and BKK to find out about the possibilities and opportunities of occupational health management (short: BGM) for their company or institution and to exchange information. Thorsten Heilig (bitExpert AG) and Silke Mathes (Pfalzklinikum) gave the participants valuable practical insights. In the subsequent panel discussion, which was attended by representatives of the German Pension Insurance, MLP and the BKK on site, as well as in a relaxed exchange after the event, the topic was further deepened.

2. Event: „Sustainable personnel policy“

On November 3, 2015, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the BIC Kaiserslautern in cooperation with the Institute for Technology and Work (short: ITA), the second event in our series "Attractive Employers" took place under the motto "Sustainable personnel policy under the sign of social responsibility - Competitive companies and social institutions".
The conference showed exemplary fields of action of sustainable personnel policy. In particular, the event focused on increasing employee loyalty and satisfaction, promoting personnel development and strengthening social skills. This brings companies and social institutions closer together so that both sides benefit. The speakers from different areas of the private and social economy provided insights into the personnel work of today and tomorrow.

Nationwide there are numerous competitions and quality seals with which you can present yourself to the outside world as an attractive employer. The following selection of different formats should give you an overview:

At state level, the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Economics (short: MWKEL) in cooperation with the Investment and Structure Bank (short: ISB) and the Institute for Employment and Employability (short: IBE) has been awarding attractive employers every year since 2014. In 2015, the MiniTec company from Schönenberg-Kübelberg received the award for transparent career opportunities, an appreciative personnel policy and its commitment to the community's child and youth work.

With Pro Fachkraft [pro specialist], the Pirmasens Economic Development Agency has developed a local approach of a fact check on the employee friendliness of companies. Since 2015, the offer is directed at companies in the entire West Palatinate.
