On Saturday, October 29, 2016, our 13th special supplement was published in the RHEINPFALZ. The 24-paged supplement is issued three times a year with 85,000 copies in the West Palatinate region on Saturdays.

The main topic of this year’s October supplement is the digital infrastructure in the West Palatinate. Several articles gave information about mobile communications, broad band etc. Furthermore you will find other current regional themes in the supplement, e. g. the Westpfalz Award.

Also our new members are mentioned. For example the Kreissparkasse St. Wendel from Saarland, which has been operating in the West Palatinate for nearly 160 years. „Zweibrücken The Style Outlets“ is a further new member of ZRW, with more than 1,135 employments it has become an important part of the West Palatinate meanwhile. Another mentionable new member is the Verbandsgemeinde Waldfischbach-Burgalben (municipality of Waldfischbach-Burgalben).

The municipalities are located in an attractive region – in the triangle formed by the cities of Zweibrücken, Pirmasens and Kaiserslautern there are more people who move thereto than people who move away. “We do not oversleep the future.“ This is the ambition of Lothar Weber, mayor of the municipality of Waldfischbach-Burgalben, and with that attitude he is just right with ZukunftsRegion Westpfalz.
