A portrait of two other core industries in the West Palatinate
In our industry brochures we want to present the different core industries of the West Palatinate and their companies in order to illustrate the strengths of our region and to communicate them to the outside world. After the start about a year ago with the automotive, automation and e-technology sector, two more brochures have now been published. A branch of industry can look back on a tradition of centuries: The metal industry, which is supplemented in the brochure by the topics mechanical engineering and electrical industry. The other industry we present, on the other hand, is an upstart of recent years: In the IT systems, software and artificial intelligence sector, the region around the "Silicon Wood" Kaiserslautern has become a Germany-wide pioneer.
